Significant Achievements:
Over the years I spent at the ABC, much of my work in online was breaking new ground with combining Television, Radio and Online together as a package; before the time of broadband and limitations of the medium.

I also pride myself on the work as a mentor and trainer for fledgling Indigenous producers, directors, researchers and online developers. I took great joy in sharing their culture and learning from them as much as imparting what knowledge I had for them to further their careers and to tell their own stories their wayCommitment to the region of the Mid North Coast has developed strongly over the short time I have lived here.

I believe there are great stories to tell and within this region there are many talented people to help tell those stories, both professional and emerging.

If you would like to document your organisations work or would like consultation on how to go about a story; or if you want to train yourself and your peers in creating small documentaries;
or video productions there are solutions at hand.

As you can see I have worked on many productions in both a supportive role and as a director/producer myself. The subjects and styles are varied and so are the people involved.

I am open to all ideas, beliefs and persuasions and I believe that everyone has a good story to tell, on video, television or online.

  • ABC Online – Indigenous Programs Unit and ABC New Media – Indigenous and Religion Message Stick
    ABC Online sites Producer/Developer

  • Originally designed and developed the first Indigenous ABC Website – as part of ABC TV. Message Stick then moved to New Media with my position in 2000. abc.net.au/message.

  • Co produced the Indigenous Cultural Protocols for Journalism with Paulette Whitton and Terri Janke

  • Produced and coordinated the 2000 Yeperenye Festival Website in co-production with ABC TV, ABC Radio Awaye!, ABC Radio Speaking Out and CAAMA Television. The first Indigenous Festival held in Alice Springs. Organised webcasting and live updates to the festival. For cultural reasons the site was unable to remain online after 1 year of productions.

  • Co ordinated and produced the first live audio webcast in 1999 from Broome, for Stompem Ground and the last Warumpi Band concert in co-production with ABC TV Songlines program.

  • Produced and Co ordinated a Online Documentary for Message Stick
